ERIE STREET PLAZA / MILWAUKEE

First opened in 2010, Erie Street Plaza is a public space along the Milwaukee riverwalk in the Historic Third Ward neighborhood. Designed by Stoss, the space is a flexible field that coexists with the surrounding environment. Bright fiberglass seating (that illuminates at night) fills the area to serve the community for a variety of functions, along with native plants and pathways.
Always looking for new spots to take our products for mini photoshoots, the space was recommended to us as an alternative, but still cohesive, look for our products. A few weeks ago we took that advise and brought some of our new men's accessories from Craighill to the plaza for a quick photoshoot. The result was a dramatic color and tone shift from our usual product photography, a welcome change as we continue to evolve the image of our shop with each passing week. Lucky to catch a sunny March day, the products and surrounding area shimmered. The five year old fiberglass seating showed some wear, but still provided a unique resting place for the bracelets and keyrings. It certainly got our brains working for other Milwaukee design gems we could use for similar purposes.
Check back soon as we'll be hitting the Erie Street Plaza again once the weather turns and the area becomes green.
